Bilingual Sales Advisor

Role:

The Affordable Housing Sales Advisor is responsible for driving sales and managing the client experience from sale to close, while advocating for affordable housing solutions. This individual will achieve annual sales, referral, and client satisfaction objectives, foster collaborations between private, public, non-profit sectors, and the faith community to address affordable housing needs. They manage relationships with realtors, brokers, clients, and lending partners, ensuring an industry-leading client satisfaction experience. The role integrates affordable housing initiatives into the core sales process, conducts seminars, collaborates with financial and municipal partners on grant programs, works alongside community partners and the True Homebuyers Club to help clients prepare for homeownership, and creates and maintains pipeline reporting for Doorway To Prosperity (DTP) by community and by region. Additionally, this role supports the development and management of DTP programs aligned with the True Homes Foundation.

Sales Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Embodies and models True Homes' culture and values.

  • Executes the True Sales Process to guide clients through pre-qualification, financing, and home selection.

  • Maintains accurate, real-time client records in CRM and follows up consistently.

  • Establishes and nurtures a bilingual referral network including realtors, brokers, and nonprofit organizations.

  • Manages incoming communication from the Doorway to Prosperity email inbox and phone line, ensuring prompt, professional, and helpful responses to prospective homebuyers.

  • Follows up with prospective homebuyers to determine where they are within the 7-Step Doorway to Prosperity process, providing guidance and referrals to the appropriate lending partners based on their readiness.

  • Participates in 8 to 10 bilingual and community-focused events per month, including open houses and public gatherings with local partners and “Community Heroes” (healthcare professionals, teachers, police officers, etc.).

  • Delivers a consistent, positive client experience from first interaction through to home closing.

  • Provides culturally relevant support to Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring understanding of contracts, lending options, and homeownership expectations.

  • Inspects communities weekly to maintain retail-readiness, documenting findings.

Affordable Housing Advocate Responsibilities:

  • Advocates for “Affordable Spaces for All” through the True Homes platform, with a specific focus on Spanish-speaking homebuyers.

  • Serves as a key connector in the Hispanic community, creating opportunities through trusted community relationships and Spanish-language outreach.

  • Develops relationships with mortgage lenders who support bilingual services and culturally tailored financing programs.

  • Leads and co-hosts 3 to 4 bilingual webinars per month, each 1 hour long, targeting homeownership candidates in the DTP pipeline.

  • Conducts and supports educational seminars in both English and Spanish for clients, realtors, and partners on affordable housing and grants.

  • Works closely with financial partners to help all clients understand and pursue the best financing options available.

  • Collaborates with faith organizations, nonprofits, and municipal groups to implement grant and down payment assistance programs.

  • Supports homebuyers in partnership with our non-profit partners to ensure they complete their required homeownership counseling, have a strong understanding of all available grants and down payment assistance programs, and are financially prepared for homeownership. Guides lending partners in utilizing these resources to help reduce the overall mortgage amount and make homeownership more attainable.

DTP Program Development & Management:

  • Participates in the ongoing design and refinement of DTP programs and outreach strategies.

  • Helps document and standardize systems, methods, and tools used in DTP program delivery.

  • Tracks performance metrics, community impact, and leads generated from bilingual outreach.

  • Partners with Market and Executive Partners to support each DTP home from concept to closing.

  • Assists in gathering post-sale demographic data and feedback, with a focus on Hispanic engagement outcomes.

Results/Accountability:

  • Meets or exceeds annual targets in sales volume, referrals, lead conversion, and client satisfaction.

  • Achieves >80% TA recommendation and >95% True Homes recommendation scores.

  • Maintains accurate DTP sales pipeline reports by region and community.

  • Documents lead generation performance by event, webinar, and seminar, identifying top-performing activities.

  • Analyzes the timing and format of bilingual seminars/webinars to improve outreach effectiveness and establish best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, affordable housing, or community engagement.

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

  • Demonstrated success engaging Spanish-speaking populations and community organizations.

  • Strong understanding of financing options and familiarity with affordable housing programs.

  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and dependable transportation.

  • Active state licenses/certifications where applicable.

General Requirements:

  • Completion of CORE Sales Training.

  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and webinars.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-impact role.

  • Compliance with company policies and operational guidelines

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to navigate active construction sites and completed homes, including stairs and uneven terrain.
